Hi Scott, I was reading your recent review of Mid-Atlantic and the Gerry Brisco-Bill White match. Like you, I really liked the touch of White trying fighting off the figure four by grabbing Brisco’s leg to try to stop him. What other examples of those little workrate touches do you like in matches? One of my favorites is seeing when X-Pac would catch a backslide on someone and would continue to drive his legs for more leverage.

I love two things:
1. Someone gets a two count but the other guy is still groggy, so you keep going for the pin and make him expend energy to kick out! It’s like found money.
2. Someone does a submission hold on the leg and the victim reaches for the ropes, so you grab the arm and tie THAT up as well and make the guy figure out another way to escape.
