Love your work over the years.

The recent Sami vs Roman match and debate about changing the title got me to thinking.

There’s been some matches over the years which have, either by plan or pure luck, ended up in the best venues and the hottest crowds.

Examples include:

Bret vs HBK at SS 97

10 man match at IYH in 97

Cena vs Punk MITB Chicago 2011

Ric Flair return to Raw the night after SurSeries 2001.

How much of this can be boiled down to pure luck? WWE can’t plan this far ahead, can they?

A lot is certainly luck. But if you have three months notice you can plan things like a big match.
