Recent rumors say that the company is trying to decide between Charlotte/Rhea and Usos/Zayn-Owens as the main event for Night 1 at “WM”, with the latter likely getting the spot. It makes sense, considering how popular the story (and especially Zayn) has been.
However, I think it would be better to have the tag match *open* one of the nights. Assuming that the plan is for Zayn-Owens to win the titles, not only would it be a super hot opener, but it would also add another layer to Reigns/Cody, with Reigns trying to concentrate on his upcoming match with Cody but now having another distraction eating away at him.
Granted, that same story can be told if Usos/Z-O close Night 1, but if that story can be told elsewhere in order to make Charlotte/Rhea a bigger deal, then I think that Rhea should close Night 1 (again, assuming the plan is for her to win the title). All of the “Bloodline” stuff can be a connecting thread throughout WM. Charlotte/Rhea, on the other hand, is its own thing, so either it's big enough to headline a show, or it's not. Rhea is one of the most over performers on the roster, she won the “Rumble” from the #1 position, and is facing an opponent that the audience appreciates but is also kinda tired of. Sounds like a good time to cement her as a main-eventer.
On another note, do you think that we may see Jey (and maybe Jimmy) finally turn against Roman? Usos lose the titles, Reigns berates them all night, ref bump in the main event, several people run-in, Jey hits Reigns with the chair, allowing Cody to win.
Your thoughts?
Take care,

A very timely and good-looking question, since I just reviewed the Bloodline story doc this afternoon and it'll be up on the blog tomorrow. I think Usos v. Sami & KO should absolutely headline night 1. I also think that the Usos costing Roman the title would be an absolute mistake, because then Roman can spin the narrative that he was still right and the Usos were the only reason why Cody is the champion. Narratively, Cody needs to be the guy who beats Roman on his own and shows that Roman isn't unbeatable. And THEN the Usos can see the light and realize that he's only a human being, and turn on him if they want to go that direction. Cody as champion should be the undisputed GUY, not the guy who is a sideshow attraction while the Bloodline continues to do their thing. Every story needs an ending and it's time for Roman to have his.
