With Cody leaving AEW last year, and rumors swirling that the Bucks and even Omega may be leaving soon, is it possible that Tony is looking to fill an EVP position or two? Say what you will about TNA, but Jarrett does know about running a wrestling promotion, working with TV companies, etc. That seems like the only explanation for pushing him as a credible wrestler in 2023, to kinda butter him up.
I could definitely see Jarrett and Jericho becoming EVPs soon, even if the “Elite” guys stay put, as the latter (particularly the Bucks) have shown that they're not mature enough to avoid politicking or get into fist-fights with their own employees.
Thoughts?
Take care,

To be fair, they’ve never actually said what happened at All Out in any official capacity. Everything is just hearsay.
I think Jarrett would be fine in that role as long as he doesn’t have to make actual business decisions.
