So if Andre's back surgery had allowed him to wrestle the WM III match and then he had to retire, how would Hogan's reign have ended? Who'd get the title and how? When would it happen?

I am thinking same timeframe, but Ted Dibiase screws him out of it himself instead of using Andre. Maybe at the Rumble. And then Savage gets it at WM and we’re back in the normal timeline again.
