Why so serious?

I am confused, what is Tony mad about regarding Ariel and WWE? He has been doing stuff with them for years, including big interviews the last year at the PPVs. I am pretty sure he was the first person to interview Cody and Becky when they returned to WWE backstage. The show was in Montréal where he is from, so he has extra motivation to take part in it. Why does that ruin any credibility he has? Stephen takes parts of all kinds of direct interviews and events, does that ruin his credibility?
Look at all the direct access Dave has to AEW, but everyone wants to say he is unbiased? Ariel is super close to Nick Khan, so yeah he is probably gonna give them the sweetheart treatment. But I thought he has still asked some good questions in the big interviews he has done. This happens in all media, but that still doesn't make sense why Tony called him out? I get he is upset Ariel trashed their interview, but he wasn't wrong, Tony was awful. But Ariel calling him a snowman was a savage burn.
