The general consensus on the blog and apparently by ratings is MJF is flopping on top. Does this put a damper on his “bidding war of 24” plans? Trips will most likely do his best to sign him still but I can't see Tony being as enthusiastic as he was to keep MJF when the time comes compared to 3/4 months ago.
To be 100% fair about things, it's not like we know what effect he'll have on PPV buys as the World champion yet, because we haven't seen it yet. If Revolution flops with him on top, then there's solid evidence that it's time to end the experiment. But ratings and attendance data aren't great in MJF's favor at the moment. Still, at some point you've gotta try to build up someone new, so kudos for at least pulling the trigger on it.
