I was rereading one of your Starrcade 97 rants (don’t ask) and you made a reference to how WCW was, at the time, comping heaps of seats.
Was that really the case even at the peak of their powers in 1997? And if yes, why were live ticket sales so poor when they were seemingly firing on all cylinders?
They weren’t even “poor” but they wanted to present a full building for TV at all times to project the image of being #1. WWF history revisionists pretend like both sides weren’t doing the same thing but they absolutely were.
