Ole in the Ring

The Horsemen thread talking about Ole Anderson got me wondering how you view him as an in-ring worker. Everyone acknowledges his great promos and we all have fun noting what a miserable bastard he is, but what about purely between the ropes? I always found him a tad boring and felt Arn had way more personality, but I also only saw the tail end of his career. What are your thoughts?
Yeah I never saw much of him in his prime growing up and everything I've seen from him is just kind of backfilling his older stuff, and really…meh. He was a solid tag team guy who brought credibility to the role he played, but I always felt like if you're seen one Ole match, you've seen them all.
