Hey Scott,
Obviously real backstage stuff was involved, but in storyline terms, hasn't Jericho been proven right that LAX was only relevant because of the association with him? They bailed to join Eddie and they disappeared. Surprised he hasn't mentioned that.
Also, what are your thoughts on what Jericho should be doing now? I know you're not into the ROH stuff, but he's still arguably the most well known star in the company. It seems Cornette thinks he should just retire and/or put over everyone, but that's what he did in WWE until him jobbing barely meant anything anymore. He said he went to AEW so he could still matter, and I think he has. Still one of the biggest parts of the show and to his credit can still go pretty well in the ring. In that regard, do you think he can or should be a big part of the show still, or should he just quit and/or just lose to everyone?
Thanks!
Tough call because he’s clearly been carrying a large portion of the show. What I’d like is for ROH to actually go somewhere in terms of getting an actual show and then Jericho can go headline it and I don’t have to watch.
