Maybe everything that dies someday comes back

I've got the Atlantic City Wrestlemanias on my mind as of late, so here goes:
a) The finish to the WM4 tournament final always looked a bit botched to me: it looks like the finish is supposed to be Andre pulls the rope away from Savage so he can't break the sleeper, inducing Hogan to come in to give Dibiase the chairshot.
However, Andre doesn't actually grab the rope, and just sort of bats it; due to the camera angle, Andre is blocked from the audience's view; Gorilla and Jesse don't make anything of Andre's interference, anyway. I don't think I've seen much commentary elsewhere
about this, so is this just my own interpretation that the sequence was a botch?

b) Were there any appreciable numbers of tickets sold to the general public for those shows, or were they mostly bought by the casinos and comped to their guests as a lot of us have assumed?
c) Was there any scuttlebut of what Vince's reaction was to Crockett's stunt of scheduling the first Clash against WM4?
1) Never thought about it that much before but it’s certainly a plausible scenario. Sadly he had already died in the ring the year before so we'll never know.
2) Nope. Both Trump shows were sold to the casinos and they just gave out tickets to the high rollers. As noted for WM5 many times before, if they weren’t making a giant payday they would have been nuts to do anything but a stadium for the Megapowers.
3) Vince is well documented as losing his mind over Crockett daring to pull the same dirty trick he already did.
