Ever since the whole WFH era became a thing, I find myself leaving wrestling on in the background (via one of a number of Youtube channels that we all know but which I won't name).
I find myself gravitating to eras that we didn't really have access to at the time, EG WCW in the years before TBS became a basic channel here. In spite of all the flaws, WCW in 1993 is a personal favourite due to the combination of that insanely good roster (even with Flair not in the ring on TV for the first half of the year) and Tony and Jesse being a great commentary pair on WCWSN. Now that the hatred towards the Worldwide tapings has died off, it's great to just leave it on and do other stuff.
Any equivalent for you? I have a hard time seeing anything 1999 or later really filling in as it's not as laid-back as the WCW product was at that point.
I have a brain problem that leaves me unable to just watch wrestling in the background without feeling compelled to review it, so I don't tend to put it on as background noise very much. HOWEVER, the one exception is the streaming TNA/Impact Wrestling channel that's on most smart TVs, which is my default channel for the bedroom TV when I'm putting away laundry or cleaning up the kitchen or whatever, because I do not give a single crap about anything presented there and have never felt like reviewing it. So that's the answer for me.
