If Vince was so worried about Bret taking the WWF title to WCW, why not just the take the physical title into his possession while Bret was in the ring during the infamous Survivor Series match?
The “worry” was Bret going on Nitro and declaring himself the WWF champion. He couldn’t have legally taken the belt to WCW either way because of the legal blowback over the Madusa situation.
