Here is something about the whole Montreal thing that never made sense and was never explained properly. According to the WWF Agents backstage, Vince told them prior to the event that Bret would be finishing up with the WWF at Survivor Series. However Bret
was under contract through December, and had committed to RAW the next night, as well as the MSG show the next weekend as well as the Dec PPV. So why would Vince say that Survivor Series was going to be Bret's last show? Was that something they came up with
after that to try to defend Vince for what he did? Did Vince really expect Bret to go in and lay down for Shawn in Canada, given everything that had happened?

Vince said that because he's a manipulative liar. I'm not really sure why it's confusing.
