You’re smart; so which was the best year ever for wrestling?

1987 (Kinda before my time but epic looking back)
1997 (Truly the outlaw year. Internet infancy and Monday Night Wars)
2000 (Miss that guy who meticulously booked WWF)
2002 (Everyone under one roof. Personified by Rock v Hogan)
Or maybe something more recent to make me seem like not an old man?

I gotta go with 87. Prime year of my fandom, Macho Man at his peak, WM3, Lex Luger as US champion…what more do you need?
