It’s pretty easy to say that Eddie Kingston needs to learn to control his temper better but wouldn’t you be ready to swing on someone after how he’s been booked over the last six months in AEW?
He beats Chris Jericho at Revolution in the match that’s supposed to define him as a guy finally capable of winning the big one and what has he done since? Left off the next PPV, loses to Jericho at the following PPV, pushed aside in Blood & Guts in favor of a shiny new toy he doesn’t get along with (Rampage World Champion Claudio), and loses to Jericho again in the worst Dynamite main event since the last time Jericho was in a main event death match. Now he’s relegated to feuding with Jericho’s young boy while Jericho is still in main event / high profile matches despite Eddie pretty consistently being one of the most popular guys on the show.
Do you sympathize with Eddie (amongst others) being super frustrated right now? Anybody in AEW who you wouldn’t blame for popping someone in the mouth backstage right now?
I don't blame Eddie for being frustrated, but his Twitter feed is a bit much at the moment. I'd be more frustrated to be Athena, who barely even got Tony's “shiny new toy” push before getting relegated to the streaming shows.
