Hiya Scott
I've just been thinking about Bayley, and how good it is to see her back, but also just how excellent she is in her heel character.
Thinking back to her NXT days, she seemed absolutely primed to be the female John Cena type “wholesome for the kids” face, and the thought of her turning heel just didn't seem to fit at all, but against all expectation she's nailed and owned the heel character so completely that it's almost impossible to reconcile with her early run as a face. It's like two different people.
So just wondering if you (or the wider BoDers) have any thoughts on others who would fit that same mould; someone who all logic screamed they should be a face/heel for pretty much their whole career, but then they blew all those expectations out of the water with a run on the other side. Thought it might be an interesting talking point, anyway!
Hope all good with you!
I would have never ever in a million years thought that Stunning Steve Austin could pull off a top level babyface character. Not even on my radar.
