Gorilla Monsoon question

We all have an opinion of gorilla monsoon as viewers. But, I’ve never heard many workers (aside from Bobby Heenan) talk about him. For a guy who was a fixture for such a long time, it’s kind of surprising. What did people think of him? Was he well liked behind the curtain?

Also wondering if any blog readers ever met him, and any stories they’d care to share.
