So Vince is gone. Rah-rah-sis-boom-bah. My question is, is it too late to matter overall? I’m sure the business deals will support things for decades but I’m reminded of various things both Cornette and Bischoff have both said about once an audience is gone, it tends not to come back. So I’m sure the new window paint will look pretty but in the end, was a product already pushing a median viewer age over 50 really going to turn it around and find some magic formula to undo 20 years or losing viewers or is that some next level fantasy booking?
At this point I was happy to see a big improvement just on Summerslam, and if they can stabilize the nonsense and make the shows consistently watchable, that’s a win for me.
