I've noticed in recent weeks that people are complaining about AEW booking decisions based on either a) what they think will happen or b) what happened with other promotions.
For example, many people said the MJF thing won't work because the Pillman stuff didn't really work in 1996. Just this morning, Meltzer was all over the All-Atlantic title by comparing to the WWF's European Title. I mean, the title has been around less than a day and we got people burying it.
And I've seen people already complaining about Adam Cole's promo with Hangman, without anyone knowing the end game. It felt to me like a red herring to keep intrigue about the outcome of the Dominion main event. Like, Ill get annoyed too if they don't deliver Okada/Hangman, but we haven't gotten there yet.
Have you noticed a shift in terms of goodwill to AEW? Maybe not from regular AEW fans, since the live crowds & ratings seem all good, but from the very online wrestling fans?
Look man, that stupid All Atlantic belt deserves all the burial it gets. TK is a big boy, he can take it.
