Don't you think it's weird that (too many) wrestling fans remain so obsessed with what old failures like Cornette & Bischoff have to say about AEW?
For example, I'm a hockey fan, Islanders in particular. Imagine if I cared about anything Mike Milbury had to say about today's team after he ran the franchise into the ground 20 years ago.
When Tony Khan sent that tweet trolling WWE for the Vegas arena, he mentioned he was out with Dana White. Not that I'm the biggest Dana fan in the world, but UFC is making money hand over fist and crushing it on PPV.
Everyone focused on the trolling, but I thought the bigger takeaway is that TK is listening to people who are successful in 2022, not 1997.
Now how can we get the rest of the pro wrestling world to leave the 1990s behind?
Nick Khan needs to finish his quest to destroy the McMahon family and take the company out of their hands. If they can get Vince out and take Kevin Dunn and Brother Bruce with them, that’s half the battle.
