Kota Ibushi seems to be having a really hard time at the moment, taking to Twitter to complain about New Japan and also imply that the company has Yakuza links.
Clearly something isn’t right there and I hope he ends up being okay. It wouldn’t shock me if he’s gone from New Japan by the time you read this though.

If you’re a Death Match company you’ve got to be furious about this as it’s just egging the authorities on to introduce regulation. I’m not an especially big fan of the style, but if you’re going to do it then you can’t also promote your show as family friendly
