WWE Mid card

One of the best things on the Network to me is the Best of series which can be 4 hour blocks that are perfect background noise. One of the things I noticed while watching Royal Rumble 1990 followed best Royal Rumble of 2010’s. Is the lack of crowd interest for the undercard. I mean hardly anyone gets a reaction except for the stars and even when I watch Raw and Smackdown now I’m amazed by how shallow the undercard is with a roster that big. Did 50/50 booking just kill everything?
Without question. Just try to remember an undercard match from a random 2018 or 2019 show. You could probably throw a dart at a wall of names and hit some combination of “Seth Rollins” and “The Miz” and have a pretty good chance of being correct but who can even remember any of those matches?
