Opening Contest: Ted DiBiase (w/Virgil) (9-1) defeats Mario Mancini via submission to the Million Dollar Dream at 3:02:
As DiBiase works over the jobber, he calls out the Big Bossman and says that he will pay a high price for crossing him. Mancini throws weak punches when he gets a chance on offense. DiBiase still sells that a bit, but a blind charge allows DiBiase to suplex Mancini several times and win his eighth straight match with the Million Dollar Dream. After the bout, DiBiase stuffs a $100 bill down Mancini’s throat.

The Orient Express (w/Mr. Fuji) (5-0) defeat Sonny Blaze & Mark Frear when Sato pins Blaze after a sitout powerbomb at 2:14:
The Rockers do an insert promo about how they are not done with the Express and will get revenge for WrestleMania. The Express show better double teams in this squash, laying in a bevy of strikes when they get Blaze in their corner. Instead of trying to do their awkward flying chop finisher, Sato ends the match with a sitout powerbomb.
Brutus Beefcake (7-0-1) defeats Mike Williams via submission to a sleeper hold at 2:25:
Williams had a long history as a television enhancement talent prior to this match, working for Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling in 1986 and doing jobs for the WWF starting in 1988. He did have a victory over Buddy Landel at a Mid-South Wrestling event in 1984, though.
Beefcake works through some simple moves and then catches Williams with the sleeper for his sixth straight win. After the match, he gives him a haircut.
Brother Love interviews Rhythm & Blues and Jimmy Hart. The team has changed its theme music to “Hunka Hunka Honky Love.” The Blues complain about the Bushwhackers ruining their song’s debut in Skydome. Greg Valentine vows that the Bushwhackers will be destroyed like the Bushwhackers destroyed their guitars at WrestleMania.
Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan are back in the gym. Rude claims that the Ultimate Warrior’s days as champion are numbered as he lifts 310 pounds.
The next match is scheduled to put Dusty Rhodes against Bobby Salsa, but Randy Savage runs in the ring and knocks Rhodes out by hitting him in the back of the head with a loaded purse. Savage shoves the referee out of the ring and knocks Salsa off the apron. When Sapphire comes to her man’s defense, Sensational Sherri takes her out with a purse shot. Savage nails Rhodes with two flying elbow drops as Sherri rubs Sapphire’s face into the canvas. Sherri makes Sapphire kiss Savage’s foot, incensing Rhodes who recovers to drive off the heels. He also decks a referee who comes out to help.
The Barbarian (w/Bobby Heenan) (3-0) beats Mark Thomas after a flying clothesline at 2:05:

As he pounds on Thomas, Heenan tells fans in the split screen that the Barbarian’s beatings will only stop when he says so. The Barbarian takes Thomas’ head off with a big boot and finishes with a sloppy flying clothesline.
WWF Tag Team Champions Demolition tell the Bolsheviks that they will get a chance to win the tag team title titles on next week’s show. The Bolsheviks respond by promising to take advantage of the opportunity.
Tune in next week to see Demolition defend the WWF Tag Team Championship against the Bolsheviks! Bushwhackers, Mr. Perfect, Jake Roberts, Rick Rude, and the Big Bossman in action! Also, the pairings will be released and there will be an update on Sapphire’s condition!
The Last Word: The in-ring action on this show was nothing special but the Randy Savage and Sensational Sherri beatdown of Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire was great and does a lot to build new heat for the feud. The WWF also gives fans a reason to tune in next week as Superstars will have a feature match for the first time since March 10. The Hart Foundation has to be incensed over the Bolsheviks getting a title shot, though, because they beat them in less than twenty seconds at WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see if the WWF brings that up on next week’s episode.
