Your hosts are Jim Ross and Todd Pettengill
Video clip of the Kiss My Foot match from King of the Ring followed by Lawler at his dentist’s office.
Yokozuna & Owen Hart defeat Jerry Flynn & David Thornberg from the 7/2 edition of “Wrestling Challenge.”
We now hear from the Allied Powers. They talk about their match at In Your House and promise not only to win the Tag Team Titles but also slam Yokozuna. An exclusive Action Zone interview here as they had the green screen background to match the gimmick of the team with this having the Allied Powers’ colors.
An ad for In Your House 2 airs.
We see Mo coronating King Mabel at King of the Ring.
Bob Holly defeats Tony DeVito from the 7/2 edition of “Wrestling Challenge.”
Video clip of Diesel at the Oklahoma City charity softball game.
The WWF New Generation ad with Diesel signing autographs for kids airs, stressing about how the WWF athletes still care about their fans and do not charge kids for autographs.
A still photo package of the Diesel & Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Tatanka & Sid match from King of the Ring airs.
We now hear from Sid & Ted DiBiase. They are pissed over people calling Sid a “coward.” Sid whispers about how he will put Diesel out for good this time as he is the ruler of the world.
Hakushi defeats Ross Greenberg from the 7/2 edition of “Wrestling Challenge.” . We learn that ten of the lumberjacks in the Sid vs. Diesel match at In Your House will be announced tomorrow night on RAW.
Waylon Mercy vignette on the lifeguard chair airs.
Duke Droese defeats Mike Bell from the 7/2 edition of “Wrestling Challenge.”
WWF video highlighting their partnership with the Special Olympics airs.
Rad Radford defeats Jeff Hardy from the 7/2 edition of Challenge
Highlights from the Jeff Jarrett/Savio Vega match from RAW and the aftermath involving Jarrett and Shawn Michaels airs.
Jeff Jarrett’s “With My Baby Tonight” music video plays.
Final Thoughts: No featured match this week but instead we had two exclusive pre-taped interviews. And there was not a featured match announced for next week, either as this show will become less and less important even when Challenge goes away next month.
