WCW Prime for October 16 featured one new match, footage of which was non-existent. However, house show reports indicate that the following was the result:
*The State Patrol (0-5) defeated the Gambler & Chris Kanyon in the Prime “MOOO” Match of the Week.
WCW Pro for October 21 featured Chris Cruise, Dusty Rhodes, and Larry Zbyszko on commentary.
Opening Contest for the Television Championship: Diamond Dallas Page (Champion w/the Diamond Doll & Maxx Muscle) (19-2-2) beats Alex Wright (51-7-2) after reversing a small package and holding the tights at 1:40:
These two have traded wins in 1995, putting on some exciting matches. However, this one never goes beyond two minutes as Wright reverses a Page body slam into a small package and Page turns that over and hooks Wright’s tights to successfully defend his title. This loss made Wright look like a chump and was another reminder that he has been floundering in the midcard since Slamboree.
–Kurasawa (w/Colonel Robert Parker) (8-0) beats Cobra (5-3) via submission to a Fujiwara armbar at 1:49:
Dusty spazzes out during Cobra’s Morse Code again, trying to find some entertainment on the C-show. Cobra gets in an equal amount of offense to Kurasawa, but a blind charge sends him shoulder-first into the top turnbuckle and Kurasawa locks on his armbar to remain undefeated. Cobra is just a glorified jobber now because his character is one dimensional and he is nothing without the Sergeant Craig Pittman feud.
–Johnny B. Badd encourages kids to write to President Bill Clinton to tell him what the government can do to stop young children from smoking. The best letters will win $1,000!
–As part of the Halloween Havoc Control Center, Gene Okerlund announces that Sabu will face Mr. J.L. on the pay-per-view telecast.

–Kurasawa comes out of his meditation position in the ring to attack jobber Mike Khoury, who is scheduled to face Dave Sullivan in the next match. Kurasawa places Khoury in the Fujiwara ambar and when Sullivan finally makes his way to the ring, he knocks him out with a kick to the face.
–Hacksaw Jim Duggan (34-8-1) pins Big Train Bart after a three-point stance clothesline at 3:22:
Bart is better known to fans as Black Bart, having competed in World Class, the USWA, and the WWF in the 1980s and 1990s. He also wrestled for WCW in 1991 as part of a Desperadoes stable with Dutch Mantel and Deadeye Dick (Moondog Rex). The stable spent its on-air time looking for Stan Hansen, who reportedly hated the angle and left for Japan before the Desperadoes found him. Bart slowly beats on Duggan before good ol’ Hacksaw backdrops the big man and floors him with a clothesline.
–Kevin Sullivan (w/the Giant) (19-5) pins Todd Morton after an elbow drop at 1:22:
Sullivan is back to wrestling in short tights, wearing yellow to mock Hulk Hogan. He beats on his opponent for a while before tossing him to the Giant. The Giant chokeslams Morton on the arena floor and an elbow drop makes things academic.
–The Master and Sullivan do a taped promo where the Master says that it is his destiny to journey to the foot of Everest and then be carried to the top of the world. He vows to get the Yeti and bring him to Detroit. As if this storyline could not any weirder…

–Harlem Heat (w/Sister Sherri) (46-7-2) wrestle the Nasty Boys (42-6-2) to a double count out at 5:00:
This is the seventh meeting between these teams this year, with the Heat owning a 3-2-1 record against their opponents. The Nasties have become a forgotten element of the tag team division, last having wrestled a meaningful match a month ago against the American Males on the Fall Brawl pre-show. Slow, sloppy brawling dominates the contest, with Sherri forgetting to trip Brian Knobbs when he runs the ropes. They redo the spot, causing Knobbs to stalk Sherri at ringside. And you guessed it, this brings out Colonel Robert Parker as her knight in shining armor as he picks up Sherri and carries her away. Meanwhile, the Nasties and Heat brawl on the floor and get counted out. Rating: ½*
–Cruise interviews Sting and Ric Flair. Flair says that Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman found out on Monday Nitro what it was like to run into true greatness. Sting is still suspicious of Flair, saying that he is not enthusiastic to be Flair’s partner. This is where WCW’s taping schedule is messing with their storyline continuity because Sting made a big deal about being honored to team with Flair on Monday Nitro.
The Last Word: WCW loaded up this broadcast with more matches between stars, although WCW should have thought better of jobbing Alex Wright to Diamond Dallas Page in less than two minutes. That would have been a better main event than running another Harlem Heat-Nasty Boys match.
