NXT vs. AEW on 10/2

Hi Scott,

NXT will have a few weeks head start before the “Wednesday Night War” against AEW begins. AEW ‘s already announced the Elite vs. Jericho/??? for their October 2nd debut.

If you’re in charge of NXT, what do you put up against AEW?


Honestly I'd probably start with a Takeover-level show out of the gate to really set the tone. Have Adam Cole defending against a big name from the main roster like a Finn Balor or Ricochet as a big surprise. Plus Dream v. Strong, Fish & O'Reilly v. Street Profits, and Shayna v. Io Shirai where you do the title change. Best foot forward and all.
