Hey Scott—

So it seems, despite loading the tournament with awesome characters and talented workers, we’re heading for a shitty, shitty Corbin/Gable final with shitty, shitty King Corbin as the payoff.

Assuming that’s the endgame, where will this rank among those most horrid of KotR tournaments, 1995 with King Mabel and 1999 with King Ass?

I don't see how anything is topping King Ass. At least Mabel won as an excuse to put him in a main event program with Diesel. Billy Gunn didn't get anything worthwhile out of that crappy tournament and was jobbing hard to the Rock at Summerslam. To the Rock. The guy who was putting over everyone from Mark Henry down to Brooklyn Brawler (well, not really, but you know) cleanly over that 2 year run, it seemed like.
