Favorite failed gimmick

Reading your Superstars reviews with all the Papa Shangos, Nailz, Max Moons, and Dementos running around, do you have a favorite failed gimmick or guilty pleasure wrestler/angle? I will admit I liked Papa Shango with all the makeup and accessories he wore to the ring.

The problem with Shango was that they never fully committed to the gimmick. Sometimes he would curse his opponents, sometimes he wouldn't. Plus cursing the leg and then winning with a shoulderbreaker was a major turn-off.

Of course, I have loved many goofy gimmicks over the years, such as The New Breed (deadly tag team assassins sent from the nightmarish future where Dusty is President), or the Desperadoes, or the mysterious Charlie Brown from Way Outta Town, whose identity we will likely never discover.
