Hi Scott. Dave Meltzer seems to receive constant ridicule because WWE news he reports about creative ends up either not happening or is totally different to how he reported it because “plans change”.

These people who make fun have heard of Vince McMahon, haven’t they? His constant changes to plans, sometimes hours before a WWE show goes live on the air, are constantly noted by insiders AND current/former WWE talent. I do believe that what Meltzer reports is very often true but then McMahon does actually change his plans on a whim.

I’m astonished anyone would give Vince the benefit of the doubt at this point. He can barely even cut a coherent promo these days. Imagine what dealing with him on a creative level is like!
