Breaking Braun

So Braun Strowman wins a Universal Title shot at the Royal Rumble, but is not cleared to compete so Finn Balor gets the CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY instead. But then this past Monday, Balor and Strowman wrestle each other? So why isn’t Strowman just wrestling Brock on Sunday? Is he going to be in the Rumble match now and this is just a really lazy way to save Brock vs. Braun Part 37 for WrestleMania?

This reminds me of Naomi being stripped of the Women’s Title because she wasn’t cleared to defend it at WrestleMania, and then she won the title back at WrestleMania. Is the WWE Universe now just the remedial class catching up by going slower? Cuckoo!
