All the G1 festivities got me thinking, could/would/should WWE adopt a similar concept for a King of the Ring reboot? I'm thinking, Network exclusive, matches every night (after TV tapings or at the PC), and make it a big 128-man tournament. Between Raw, SD, NXT, 205, UK, legends, and a few one offs, they should be able to cover that many people. It might give wrestling fans some unique matchups and having nightly results might generate a lot of interest. Then the finals would get someone over huge because he's had to beat out nearly everyone there is. Worth doing, or too ambitious for corporate WWE to try?
Too much to keep track of. I have enough trouble remembering who the various champions even are at this point.
