John Cena – a good person

By Scott Keith on 26 July 2018

Hi again Scott,

I was thinking about John Cena being a good person. I can't recall anyone from the past who has as impeccable a record as he has as far as reputation.

Doing tons of make-a-wish stuff, helping kids, being a total pro, company man through and through, etc. It's almost impossible for someone to be such an all-around good person. I mean he had to push for himself and had to climb the career ladder – people who are just goody-two-shoes don't get so far in life in general. It just doesn't happen.

Are there any reports of anything negative on Cena, like at all? Not just the stuff like "he pushed for the wrong finish at SS 2010", but something different? Is he the greatest at PR in history along with maybe The Rock (who at least uses brash humor and doesn't try to look as humble as Cena does)? Does the guy fart or burp at least?

Of course there's dirt on Cena, despite his monumentally good deeds outside of wrestling. He reportedly had multiple guys de-pushed (like the famous ice pack incident with Seth Rollins) and basically pushed Kenny from the Spirit Squad out of the company for a messy love triangle situation with Mickie James. Oh and his marriage fell apart because he was cheating on his wife with Mickie and various other women, which he admitted to.

So sleep tight knowing Cena is indeed a human being as well!
