RIP Johnny Attitude

By Scott Keith on 22 June 2018

I know he was not big time by any means, but he was one of the nicest people I ever met. He was married to former Penthouse Pet of the year Andi Sue Irwin and she came to the club I worked at in 2004. I did not recall
Johnny from any of his WCW appearances, but he still hung out with me, talked wrestling, and was just a cool guy. He asked me for my address and promised me he was going to send me autographed 8 x 10’s. I never expected anything from him, yet over time I got
Chris Benoit, Randy Savage, and a bunch of other guys he hung out with’s autographs and personalized notes. I would never have expected him to go through that for me, when I was just a dude that bounced for his wife for one weekend. He was a stand up guy and
I am glad he got a bit of fame off of the MCW show on TruTV. Goldberg broke his neck and elbow in one match, but it was on Nitro and made the Goldberg VHS so Johnny said at least the world can see it over and over. While so many of our wrestlers may not have
been who we hoped they would be in real life, Johnny was better than I could have imagined. He may not have been popular, but I hope the blog can give a little love to a good guy.

I’m not actually familiar with him, but I’m glad he made an impact on your life.
