1 billion a year?

Everything else being equal to what it is today, how much would a TV contract be worth in 1999 or 2000?

The WWE is going to get 1 billion over 5 years for Smackdown. Good for them, but I feel like they are just settling when they could be making so much more.

How can someone as successful as Vince McMahon not be self diven enough to make as much as possible?
