Original Plans For WWE Championship Match at SummerSlam

The original plans called for Nakamura beating Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship then having Baron Corbin cash-in the briefcase and win. However, the company made the decision to have Corbin lose the briefcase due to his behavior on Twitter and that was going to lead to Nakamura winning by DQ but due to the positive press of Mahal’s New York Times piece it was decided that Mahal would beat Nakamura.

Big Cass Update

Cass tore the ACL in his left knee this past Monday and will require surgery and can miss up to nine months of action
