WrestleMania pay day

In the old days we’d hear about guys wanting to get on the card to get the WM bonus. That’s why pre-show battle royals, lumberjack matches, and 10-man tags were added over the past decade. So EVERYONE gets a check! So with guys like Jinder Mahal, Tian Bing, and Killian Dane getting on the card, what happens with Samoa Joe and Finn Balor who are healthy but for whatever reason are left off the card? Speaking of Joe, he was at Axxess, and he’s HHH’s"destroyer", so where was he in the unsanctioned match?

​Yeah, I dunno about them, sucks to be Joe and Finn today I guess. That being said, no one really knows how WM paydays work anymore and it’s all pretty much on the whims of Vince, but in the old days a $15 million gate would have meant guys were set for a few months. Today it’s the video game residuals that everyone is really after because they’re not controlled by Vince and they’re actually fair for the most part.
