Jannetty in 2005

As we know, Marty Jannetty’s 2005 match with Kurt Angle was so impressive that it earned him a contract with WWE until he screwed up and got arrested. Assuming Marty could stay on the straight and narrow — say, by having either Shawn or another locker room leader keep his nose clean — how would you have used him, if at all, in 2005-06 WWE?

​I think he was fine as a name to work good midcard matches with young guys and go on the road for house show tours. They had a million stupid thrown-together tag teams around that time (Holly-Gunn anyone?) and Marty was always a great guy to put in a team. ​
