“Mr. Wrestle-Mania”?

Why do you think they came up with the moniker "Mr. Wrestle-Mania" for Shawn Michaels, when in fact he has a mediocre record at W.M.?

​I know, right? Vince has done some scummy false advertising in his day, but overstating the won-loss record of a wrestler takes the cake.
