Nexus In 2010

Was The Nexus Invasion storyline 6 years ago supposed to have ended up a lot differently than it turned out? I remember them dropping hints they were working for someone else who was trying to take over the company. That certainly seemed to be the case when they attacked Vince McMahon on Raw. By the end of that year they were jobbers to the stars. Any ideas?

​Dude, they didn’t know shit about what was happening two weeks into the future at that point. They teased that stuff with the Nexus for a while, then switched to teasing something with the Undertaker that never got explained or paid off, then turned them into jobbers, then split them into rival factions…it was just a mess from start to finish. Once Cena triumphed in the FIRST MATCH, it was DOA anyway.​
