Fair? Ridiculous? Bret just "being Bret?" I can understand the Rollins beef only to the extent of busting up John Cena, but that seemed to be a one-time accident. The Sting situation appeared to be a perfectly safe move performed properly, but Sting was beyond the years where he should be in the ring.
BTW, did you know Bill Goldberg ended his career by kicking him in the head? Not sure that was ever made clear.
I’d say it falls under "Bret being Bret" these days. He’s really become the guy who the business has passed by. Imagine if he really had ended up in an office position after retiring, like his original 20 year deal was supposed to guarantee him. NXT would probably be very different.
