Andre & Princess Bride

I just rewatched "The Princess Bride" with my kids this morning and noticed an interesting line. Andre the Giant’s character, during a closeup shot of his face, tells Inigo, "You be careful. People in masks cannot be trusted."

This was filmed around the same time Andre was portraying the Giant Machine in WWF and shortly before he turned heel. Coincidence, or a little wink & nod to his wrestling fans?

​Coincidence. The movie is pretty much a direct translation of the original novel, which came out in 1974. And both are very much worthwhile to check out, by the way! ​
