Reading your Observer flashbacks about the NWA sale made me want to ask
this question: if Magnum never got hurt business obviously would have been
different, but would it have kept Crockett in the game?

Thank god for a non Reigns question this morning.

Crockett’s business died because he spent millions on acquiring other territory, then flying everywhere in private jets, then buying offices in Dallas that never got used. Dusty’s booking HELPED kill it, but ultimately Crockett went bust even with Flair and Luger on top drawing good money. Plus getting frozen out of the early PPV game was a killer. Magnum would have went down with the ship just like everyone else.
