Shane’s promo

Hi Scott,

Did you find it strange that Shane actually mentioned ratings being in the
toilet and stock prices being down? This is a company that has never passed
up a chance to give itself an on-air rimjob about how successful they are.
Is it just a worked shoot comment to convince smarks that Vince really
might lose control of the company via wrestling match this time?

I find a lot of stuff about the Shane “storyline” to be pretty strange. Desperation makes you do weird things, I guess.
