Survivor Series and destiny
By Scott Keith on 11 November 2015
Orton is hurt, Cena is gone for now, Big Show is Big Show, and now Rollins is gone past WrestleMania. Probably. And an hour of Raw actually went below 3 million.
How crucial is it that they nail Survivor Series? Like, could they come out OK even if they bomb it, or are they screwed if they do?
Well, once again, they have a pretty steady stream of revenue sources, so the success or failure of Survivor Series (which is already basically a write-off every year anyway) is really irrelevant. The thing now is that if Network subs start dropping, then they’re in trouble. RAW’s rating freefall is more Vince’s problem in that USA isn’t going to put up with this shit much longer. Multi-year deals can always be renegotiated or broken, as Bret Hart found out.
