The interview was not conducted by Rob Feinstein, but he was present for part of the interview, chiming in a few times.
He is first asked if he was a fan growing up in Georgia. He said that he would always go with his dad to the shows and sit in the front row. He also had that his dad’s friend was a police officer that worked the shows in Savannah and he would get to bring the ring robes back to the dressing room on occasion. He said that he got to carry Ric Flair’s robe as a kid, watched him in college, then got to actually wrestle him as an adult and watched him wrestle some more when he stopped wrestling.
Final Thoughts: Well, this was certainly entertaining. The thing I like about Riggs here is that he is not bitter at all about anything. Very laid back guy. Plus, his stories about partying and banging chicks are pretty damn good.
If you are wondering why Riggs spent so much time talking about nailing chicks, you can thank the interviewer. He kept asking him the questions and Riggs was more than happy to oblige. Speaking of the interviewer, he seemed to have a lot of sexual frustrations based on his obsession over Riggs’ sex life on the road. It was pretty damn odd when he asked Riggs about guys having big dicks in the locker room. I thought Riggs reply to that was pretty funny.
This is the first disc and it is highly entertaining. Riggs had no problem discussing his life as a pro wrestler, which seemed like a blast away from the ring. The road stories are great and definitely worth a listen. Riggs was also a believer of the Four F’s system (Find em’, feel em’, fuck em’, forget em’) but at least left them cab fare and not “H Bomb” or shit in their bags.
Disc Two will be up tomorrow afternoon.
