WWE Main Event

We are juts over a week away from Survivor Series and the big story on the Raw side is a WarGames match between Judgment Day/JD McDonagh vs. Cody Rhodes and Pals. There is always the chance of having another person added on either side and we very well could be getting another match or two thrown onto the card. Let’s get to it.

The SmarK Rant for WWE Main Event – 04.08.14

When I started doing this show last week it was mentioned that this episode had a really good Wyatts-Shield main event, and I filed that one away to watch eventually.  Well, obviously now is the time.

For perspective, we’re a week removed from Wrestlemania XXX with Daniel Bryan winning the WWE title.  The show is long gone from broadcast TV and debuted as a WWE Network exclusive around this time.

This was a recommendation from WWE Network guru and #1 Rhea Ripley stan Miss Peacockery, and man was this show 11 years ago already?  So yeah, this original concept for the show was a relatively short-lived thing on some channel called Ion TV where they got a TV deal and then both sides apparently tired of it fairly quickly (about a year into the deal) and WWE turned it into just another international recap show that aired on Hulu in the US.  It’s still around today but basically just as a dumping ground for dark matches and tryouts.
