Carrying on with 84! Man these are fun. The description of the show cuts off RIGHT when it says who Tito Santana is facing for the IC title tonight in the main event, but apparently it’s a doozy according to someone who messaged me on Twitter, so I’m pretty hyped to find out and I’m glad it wasn’t spoiled for me.
Also this show is rated 18+ by the Network for violence and language, so now I’m even more hyped.

It’s time for the show that doesn’t exactly seem like it needs to exist but actually doesn’t look too bad on paper. There are some matches here which could be pretty good, though you never can tell with a show like this. A lot of the promise might come from the fact that the expectations are so low, but take whatever you can get. Let’s get to it.

Believe it or not, this week’s show is about Paul Heyman, who is the big evil around here and therefore has to deal with Sabu. I’m not the biggest Sabu fan, but if they want this show to have anything to do with the original ECW, Sabu is one of their best options. Granted I have no reason to believe WWE is going to have him do anything but challenge for the title so let’s get to it.

So I did that episode of Superstars yesterday, and commented that the bodyslam challenge wasn’t broadcast anywhere originally but was on the WWE Network, in case you wanted to watch it. YOU. NOT ME. But then one of my Patrons sent me money and asked for a review, and by the rules of my Patreon I had to accept the challenge. DAMN HIM. They couldn’t have tried to bribe me to review the four hour Crockett Cup 86 on there instead?
