What the World Was Watching: WWF Prime Time Wrestling – August 12, 1991

Jamison hears a radio announcement in Bobby Heenan’s dressing room that six “deranged lunatics” have escaped from the Stanford Sanitarium and have escaped on a yellow bus.

Sean Mooney, Lord Alfred Hayes, and Gene Okerlund are shown blowing up balloons for Randy Savage’s bachelor party.  They are tired and complaining that Heenan, who organized the party, has not done any setup work.  Gorilla Monsoon hauls Heenan onto the set, which has no audience.  Koko B. Ware, the Bushwhackers, and Jamison show up, with the Bushwhackers bringing a long sub sandwich.

Sean Mooney and Bobby Heenan are this evening’s hosts.  Heenan insists that Vince McMahon is still getting cosmetic surgery.

WWF Tag Team Champions the Nasty Boys and Jimmy Hart come out.  Hart says that his guys can do whatever they want because they are champions.  They drag a fan out of the audience and give them the Pit Stop.  Jerry Sags shoves his exposed toes into the poor fan’s mouth too.

Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura are in the booth, and they remain taped from Sacramento, California.  On the eve of WrestleMania VI, Ventura is dressed in Ultimate Warrior face paint and t-shirt and a Hulk Hogan hat.  When McMahon asks for a prediction, Ventura says the bout is a tossup.
