–Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are doing commentary and they are taped from Atlanta, Georgia. These tapings were done on August 21. The Atlanta Braves are playing the Montreal Expos so this is a one-hour episode.
WCW Prime for September 18 included a bevy of new matches, which will be recapped before we get to WCW Pro for September 23. Chris Cruise and Dusty Rhodes did commentary for these matches.
WCW Prime for August 28 featured Cobra in action so we will recap that match before moving onto WCW Pro.
–Gene Okerlund and Bobby Heenan handle the usual studio duties for today’s broadcast. Heenan demands to find out who is going to be in the WarGames match at Fall Brawl.
–Heenan goes through the members of the Dungeon of Doom, speculating on who might appear at Fall Brawl.
WCW Prime featured one new match on its July 24 broadcast so we will get to that match before going on to WCW Pro.
–Eric Bischoff and Dusty Rhodes are doing commentary for today’s Bash at the Beach pre-show broadcast that is originating live from Huntington Beach, California. The camera shot of fans on the beach surrounding the ring makes for a great visual.
There were a few new bouts on WCW Prime for July 10, with Tony Schiavone and Dusty Rhodes narrating the action.
–Gene Okerlund and Bobby Heenan do the studio duties and they do their best to sell the Shark as a legitimate threat to Hulkamania.
–A new Dungeon of Doom vignette sees Vader return in his mastodon mask. Vader says he has crossed a new dimension and now has more power than Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania and he will fulfill his destiny and win the WCW title at Bash at the Beach. The Master yells out more geography before he, Vader, and Kevin Sullivan scream “Vader time.”
WCW Prime for July 3 featured a few new contests so those will be recapped before we go on to WCW Pro. Tony Schiavone and Dusty Rhodes called the action for the Prime matches.
–Before we get into WCW Pro, there was a new match that aired on WCW Prime on May 29.
–The promo poster for this show is odd as it makes it seem like Ric Flair is the babyface since he is “seeking revenge.”
–Eric Bischoff and Bobby Heenan are doing commentary and they are live from St. Petersburg, Florida. Bischoff is substituting for Tony Schiavone who is on the shelf with neck surgery.
–A video package hypes Harlem Heat, spliced with a generic promo of how they are going to beat the Nasty Boys tonight.
–WCW Prime for May 15 featured one new bout, taped at an old WCW Pro taping. It was commentated by Tony Schiavone and Dusty Rhodes.
